Popular Travel Destination: Travel to KhivaCity-museum Khiva lies at the heart of the Karakum desert, on the left bank of the Amu Darya, in the 450 km from Bukhara. Here survived more than a hundred monuments very different eras and nations. The oldest part of the city lies within the ancient city wall, part of a set of Ichan-Kala. Here you can see such unique historical monuments, as the citadel complex Kunya-Ark, a palace-Tash Hauli, completely covered with glazed tiles minaret Kalta-Minor, famous Juma mosque, with its 218 carved columns, a symbol of Khiva - the minaret of Islam-Hodge and much more.
